Danielle Holley, 21, Fatally Injured in Atlanta Car Accident; Husband Seriously Injured; Jack Parson, 51, Charged with Second Degree Vehicular Homicide and Improper Lane Change per Authorities

A car accident occurring on Sunday, April 24, 2011 has sadly claimed the life of a newlywed from Woodstock, Georgia and has left her husband seriously injured according to reports reviewed by our personal injury law firm. Atlanta Police indicate that Danielle Holley was traveling on Interstate 285 southbound near Martin Luther King Drive when a tractor-trailer driven by Jack Parsons was attempting to change lanes and struck her Nissan Sentra, sending out of control. The car hit the guardrail, crossed the highway and was struck once again by another tractor trailer causing it to flip and land on its side. Ms. Holley's husband was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. Mr. Parsons was arrested and charged with second degree vehicular homicide and improper lane change.

Accident onI-285.jpgThese tractor trailer accidents occur all too often on Georgia's highways, and it is important to hold negligent truck drivers accountable in order to both compensate injured victims for their trauma and to protect our roadways against similar incidents in the future. Our law firm has represented the injured victims of many tractor trailer accidents such as this one, and we have recovered millions of dollars for our Clients in the process. Based upon our initial review of this case, in addition to the criminal charges that will be pursued against Mr. Parsons', Ms. Holley's family may seek to pursue a civil lawsuit for the wrongful death of their loved one against Mr. Parsons, his employer, and his insurance carrier for the damages that they have suffered, but any recovery to which they are entitled may be limited by the insurance coverage available. It is important that any evidence related to the accident, such as the damaged vehicles, be immediately inspected so as to ensure that it is preserved for later use. All too frequently evidence is destroyed by failure of the parties to seek immediate representation, and this, ultimately, can effect the value of these types of cases. Given this common scenario, when representing injured victims in these types of cases, our law firm will immediately notify the driver, his employer, and his insurance company of our representation and demand that any and all evidence be preserved until we have the opportunity to conduct an examination.

Our law firm has recovered millions upon millions of dollars for Clients who have lost a loved one or have been seriously injured in car accidents such as this one. We understand the grief and emotional trauma that the victims and their families are enduring at this difficult time. We extend our condolences to the family of Ms. Holley. Our law firm is available 24 hours a day to offer assistance if needed.
