Macon, GA – A motor vehicle accident early Tuesday morning, May 6, 2025, left one man fatally injured.

As reported by WGXA.tv, “[o]ne person [has tragically been killed] after a fatal multi-car crash on Hawkinville Road in Macon early Tuesday morning. The crash happened close to the North Avondale Circle intersection just before 3 a.m. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO), a motorist was traveling on Hawkinsville Road when they crashed into another motorist on a motorcycle.”

According to the report, “the motorcyclist was also hit by two other cars. He said one car stopped while the other two left the scene.”

41NBC.com is reporting, “[t]he motorcyclist, identified as 55-year-old Dana Wayne Redd of Macon, was [unable to survive injuries from] the crash.”

The investigation is ongoing.
