Columbus, GA – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex Saturday night, January 24, 2026, leaving one person injured.

As reported by WTVM.com, “[a] shooting investigation is underway after one person was injured in an incident in Columbus. According to the Columbus Police Department, the incident occured just after 7 p.m. in the 3500 block of Gentian Blvd (The Hill Apartments).”
