A motor vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle on I-75 in Bibb County, Georgia Friday afternoon, March 27, 2020, caused injuries to one woman.

As reported by WGXA.tv, “[t]he accident happened on the ramp to I-75 northbound from the eastbound lanes of Hartley Bridge Road around 3:09 p.m. on March 27.”

According to the report, “[a] tractor-trailer hauling a large piece of equipment was getting onto I-75 North Bound from Hartley Bridge when a part of equipment struck the bridge as it was going under Hartley Bridge Road.”

13WMAZ.com is reporting, “[a] car was behind the tractor trailer and was hit by debris falling from the damaged bridge. The driver, a 55-year-old woman, was taken to the Coliseum Hospital for injuries. She is listed in stable condition.”

The investigation is ongoing.
