A motor vehicle pedestrian accident in College Park, Georgia sadly claimed the life of a woman Tuesday morning, October 22, 2019.

As reported by 11Alive.com, “just before 7 a.m., officers responded to a pedestrian hit near the intersection of Garden Walk Boulevard and Garden Ridge Drive.”

According to the report, “the pedestrian was crossing Garden Walk pushing her child in a baby stroller when she was hit by the driver of a Ford [SUV].”

WSBtv.com is reporting, “[t]he woman was able to push the stroller out of the way before being hit by the SUV, saving her baby.”

The accident remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol, according to the media reports.
