Snellville, GA – Gunfire rang out at an extended-stay hotel Friday afternoon, October 11, 2024, leaving one man dead.

As reported by AccessWDUN.com, “[a] man was shot at a Stone Mountain extended-stay hotel parking lot on Friday. Gwinnett County Officials said that they were called to the scene after a 9-1-1 caller reported a shooting near the back parking lot.”

AtlantaNewsFirst.com is reporting, “[o]fficers reportedly found a man with at least one gunshot wound in the parking lot. He died after he was taken to a hospital.”

According to the report, “[o]n Monday, Gwinnett County police identified the victim as 60-year-old Victor Ricks of Snellville.”

As reported by 13WMAZ.com, “[t]he shooting happened just before 3:30 a.m. at [a hotel] located at 107 Holiday Drive North, just off Riverside Drive.”

WGAX.tv is reporting, “[w]hen deputies arrived they found 28-year-old Anthonio Dewayne McNeill shot multiple times. Paramedics then arrived and began to treat McNeill, however he didn’t survive his injures.”
