A motor vehicle accident in Cobb County, Georgia Sunday afternoon, January 12, 2020, injured multiple people.

As reported by Patch.com, the accident happened “on Powder Springs Road at Kimberly Drive on Sunday.”

According to the report, “[a driver] was driving south on Powder Springs Road at a high speed when he lost control of the Chevrolet Corvette around 3 p.m….[t]he driver crossed into the northbound lanes. The Chevrolet collided with a silver 2011 Toyota RAV4.”

Per the report, “Maria A. Pineda-Chacon, 49, of Marietta was behind the wheel. She was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”

The driver of the Chevrolet Corvette was also taken to the hospital.

The collision remains under investigation.

An accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle in Acworth, Georgia claimed the life of a young man Monday morning, October 14, 2019.

As reported by AJC.com, the accident happened “on Cobb Parkway…at Black Acre Trail near Acworth.”

According to the report, “Marco Malvaez, 25, of Kennesaw, was on his Honda motorcycle going south as the driver of a northbound Mercedes SUV turned left into his path.”

The investigation is ongoing.

An accident involving a vehicle and a three motorcycles in Toomsboro, Georgia left one person dead and two others injured Saturday morning, October 12, 2019.

As reported by 13WMAZ.com, “a man is dead after a wreck involving three motorcycles and a car in Toomsboro on Lords Cemetery Road and Highway 57.”

According to the report, “the motorcycles were traveling east on Highway 57 when a 1988 Ford F-150 pickup truck going west made a left turn in front of them around 9:30 a.m.”

One of the motorcyclists was tragically unable to survive the injuries sustained in the incident, and the other two motorcyclists were taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health in Macon for treatment, per the report.

13WMAZ.com is reporting the identity of the deceased motorcyclist as “51-year-old Jaime Garcia from Marietta.”

The investigation is ongoing.
