Gunfire erupted at an Atlanta, Georgia apartment complex Thursday night, October 3, 2019, leaving one man dead.

As reported by AJC.com, the deadly shooting “happened just before 8 p.m. in the 1400 block of Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.”

When officers arrived “[a] deceased man was found on the stairs of an apartment building, and he had a gunshot wound to his upper body.”

According to the report, “vehicles in the area also seemed to be damaged by gunfire, and it’s unclear how many rounds were fired during the shooting.”

The investigation is ongoing, no suspects have been identified.
