An accident involving a two vehicle and a motorcycle left one person dead Wednesday morning, September 11, 2019.

As reported by WDEF.com, the accident “happened on Walnut Avenue and VD Parrott Parkway around 9:20 AM.”

According to the report, “a pickup was turning left onto Walnut Avenue and collided with a car…[t]he impact pushed the car into a motorcycle traveling on Walnut Avenue.”

The rider of the motorcycle was killed.

The investigation is ongoing.

STONE MOUNTAIN NEWS

Gunfire erupted Thursday night, September 12, 2019 at a Stone Mountain, Georgia gas station leaving one person injured.

As reported by AJC.com, “[t]he shooting took place Thursday night at the BP gas station at the intersection of Redan and South Hairston roads.”

One Person is in critical condition after the shooting, according to the report.

The investigation is ongoing.

A motor vehicle accident in Smyrna, Georgia Saturday, September 10, 2019, injured a young girl and her Aunt.

As reported by Fox5Atlanta.com, “[t]he crash happened Saturday morning on South Cobb Drive near Lois Street.”

A driver crossed the roadway, struck a car, then slammed head on into the car with the young girl inside, per the report.

According to the report, “Erica Miller told FOX 5 her eight-year-old daughter Sameg suffered severe head trauma and a damaged spine.

The young girl was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite in critical condition.

NewbernSJ.com is reporting the young girl “was traveling with her aunt, Kiameshya Miller, who also sustained injuries including both of her legs broken from the head on collision.

The investigation is ongoing.
