A man was killed in a stabbing at a Roswell, GA restaurant parking lot early Saturday morning, January 9, 2021.

As reported by, Roswell Police “were called to 1085 Holcomb Bridge Road, the location of [a restaurant], regarding a fight just minutes after midnight on Saturday. The scene had cleared by the time police arrived but, within 30 minutes, they learned of a man who had arrived at North Fulton Hospital with suspected stab wounds.”

According to the report, police “believe the stabbing stemmed from an attempted robbery.” is reporting, “[o]fficers later identified the victim as 40-year-old Rigoberto Corea…Medical professionals tried to save Corea’s life, but he died of his injuries.”

A suspect has been identified but no arrests have been made. 

The investigation is ongoing.
