As reported by NowGeorgia.com, “[a]n 85-year-old Tennessee woman [tragically lost her life] Monday after the SUV her husband was driving struck a flatbed truck backing into Browns Bridge Road.”
According to the report, “Barbara Ann Payne of Maryville was a front-seat passenger in a Kia Sportage involved in the collision just after 9:30 a.m. Oct. 12 near Whiporwill Road. She was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, where she [was unable to survive] her injuries.”
