A motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a tractor-trailer in Cherokee County, Georgia Friday morning, April 10, 2020, caused the death of one person.

As reported by AJC.com, “[t]he wreck occurred about 8:15 a.m. near the intersection on Knox Bridge Highway and Ga. 108 in the Sutallee community.”

According to the report, “the driver of the truck was traveling east on Ga. 108 when he ran the red light and collided with the SUV, which was turning onto Knox Bridge Highway from Upper Sweetwater Trail.”

CBS46.com is reporting, “[t]he woman [in the SUV] was taken to Northside Cherokee Hospital where she later died. Police identified the victim to be 62-year-old Kathleen Quigley of Sutallee.”

The investigation is ongoing.

A motor vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle on I-75 in Bibb County, Georgia Friday afternoon, March 27, 2020, caused injuries to one woman.

As reported by WGXA.tv, “[t]he accident happened on the ramp to I-75 northbound from the eastbound lanes of Hartley Bridge Road around 3:09 p.m. on March 27.”

According to the report, “[a] tractor-trailer hauling a large piece of equipment was getting onto I-75 North Bound from Hartley Bridge when a part of equipment struck the bridge as it was going under Hartley Bridge Road.”

13WMAZ.com is reporting, “[a] car was behind the tractor trailer and was hit by debris falling from the damaged bridge. The driver, a 55-year-old woman, was taken to the Coliseum Hospital for injuries. She is listed in stable condition.”

A motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle in Walker County, Georgia Thursday night, March 26, 2020, caused the death of a two people and left two others seriously injured.

As reported by WDEF.com, “It happened northbound on Highway 193 in Walker County.”

According to the report, “the driver of the Dodge Charger lost control and struck a tree. The car then crossed the southbound lane and ended up in a ditch.”

NewsChannel9.com is reporting, “a driver and passenger of the vehicle were killed. One passenger’s injuries were so bad that a helicopter airlifted them to Atlanta. The other was rushed to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga.”
