An accident involving a vehicle injured a child pedestrian Thursday, May 30, 2019. According to, “[t]he incident happened about 6:20 p.m. Thursday on Rockbridge Road near Rays Road, DeKalb County.”  The news story reports, “[a] child riding a scooter was hit by a car…and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.”  The driver of the vehicle did stay on the scene and an investigation is ongoing according to the report.
