As reported by 11Alive.com, “[o]fficers with the DeKalb County Police Department responded around 3:20 p.m. to [a grocery store] on Wesley Chapel Road following reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles and pedestrians. Initial investigations indicate that a driver struck a vehicle parked in front of the store. The impact pushed the parked vehicle onto the sidewalk, where it struck a pedestrian before coming to rest against the front of the building.”
Fox5Atlanta.com is reporting, “[t]he driver of the vehicle who caused the crash was taken to the hospital with injuries.”
According to the report, “[t]he other female driver died on the scene. She was identified on Thursday morning by the DeKalb County medical examiner as 49-year-old Giselle Perry. Additionally, two juveniles who were on the sidewalk when the crash happened were both taken to the hospital for medical evaluations.”
