Local News

A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles in Twiggs County, Georgia Monday morning, March 16, 2020, caused the death of the two drivers.

As reported by 13WMAZ.com, “it happened on Georgia 96 at Patricia Drive…around 8:46 a.m., a black Nissan Altima…was traveling west on Georgia 96 as a white Dodge Ram was traveling east…[the Nssas] failed to maintain his lane and crossed the center line, hitting the front of the Dodge driven by 67-year-old Jessie Adams.”

According to the report, “[the drivers] were [unable to survive their injuries and]…[n]o other passengers were in either car.”

The investigation is ongoing.
