An accident involving a vehicle killed a pedestrian Saturday, May 26, 2019.  According to, “a 46-year-old Marietta man was struck and killed while crossing South Cobb Drive just north of the Pat Mell Road intersection.”  Per the report, “Nicholas Tomayo Perez was hit by a trailer being towed by a pickup truck about 9:30 p.m.” According to, “[t]he truck and trailer, both believed to be white…possibly an early 2000s Chevrolet two-door pickup…left the scene.” [Mr.] Perez was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
