58-year-old Teresa Owen Gracia was struck and killed while crossing a Macon roadway Wednesday morning, December 19, 2018.

According to 41 NBC, the pedestrian accident occurred “around 7:00am Wednesday on Eisenhower Parkway near Log Cabin Drive.”  Police told FOX 24, Ms. Gracia was crossing the road when she was struck by a Honda Accord. Ms. Gracia was transported to Navicent, where she tragically succumbed to fatal injuries. It is unclear whether the driver will face charges.

Could the tragic loss of this Atlanta teenager have been prevented are justice and compensation available to Jaylen Shabazz’s family?

Security measures are in question following the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Jaylen Shabazz, killed outside an Atlanta apartment complex Saturday night, December 15, 2018.

Police told The AJC, officers initially responded to shots fired “at the Greenbriar Mill Apartment Homes” in the “3300 block of Stone Road in southwest Atlanta about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.” They did not locate any victims or suspects at that time. Officers later returned to the scene “about 9 a.m. Sunday after a second caller reported a person down…behind one of the apartment buildings.”

The tragic loss of such a young man and the critical time lapse prior to his discovery raise disturbing questions over security measures at the complex.

Could this senseless Fairburn motel shooting have been prevented are justice and compensation available to the victim?

Gunfire erupted following a dispute outside “the Efficiency Lodge on Senoia Road around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday,” December 5, 2018, according to 11 Alive.

Police told FOX 5 the 33-year-old victim “was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.” Investigators have not yet identified a suspect or motive.

The motel was apparently the location of a homicide investigation in October 2012, per AJC reports.
