Two men have allegedly been arrested in connection with the July 14th Atlanta apartment shooting, which claimed the life of Calvin Clark, Jr.

According to the AJC, Mr. Clark was shot and robbed outside an apartment complex “in the 600 block of Newtown Circle.” Tragically, he succumbed to fatal injuries.

Mr. Clark’s parents held a vigil for their son which “helped police develop leads,” per WSB-TV 2 reports. Two suspects are allegedly now facing charges, including “murder” and “armed robbery.”

Could the Tragic Death of This Young Woman Have Been Prevented?

32-year-old TeeTee Dangerfield was reportedly shot and killed outside the South Hampton Estates apartment complex Monday morning, July 31, 2017.

According to the AJC, gunfire erupted outside the “South Hampton Estates on the 3100 block of Godby Road about 4:20 a.m.” Ms. Dangerfield was apparently “sitting in her car when bullets rang out.” 11 Alive reports, Ms. Dangerfield was transported to Grady Memorial, where she tragically succumbed to fatal injuries. Police have apparently not yet identified a suspect or motive.

Could This Senseless Atlanta Apartment Shooting Have Been Prevented?

32-year-old Jerrod Dumas is bravely recovering after surviving a violent robbery outside an Atlanta apartment complex June 20, 2017.

According to WSB Radio, Mr. Dumas was visiting a friend at a Huff Road apartment complex when he was approached by the gunman. WSB-TV 2 reports, Mr. Dumas was at the apartment call box when an armed man “stole his watch and other items and then shot him five times.” As there was “no one in sight” and Mr. Dumas could not speak, he drove until he could flag down a police officer for help. One month and multiple surgeries later, Mr. Dumas told media he is now focused on his recovery and family.
