An accident involving two vehicles on Veterans Memorial Highway Thursday afternoon, August 8, 2019, caused multiple injuries.
As reported by MDJonline.com, “[t]he incident happened just after 4:30 p.m. between Braves Boulevard and Rome High School.”
According to the report, “[a] red Dodge Caliber traveling east crossed the center line, jumped the median and was struck head on by a black Lexus RX 350 in a westbound lane.”
The driver of the Dodge Caliber had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Both drivers were treated for their injuries but their condition is unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.
