As reported by KSLtv.com, “Leslie Schwendiman attended her cousin’s wedding in Forsyth, Georgia with her fiancée….  The couple were on a walk together Friday morning when Schwendiman’s son said a teenage driver going too fast, rounded the corner and hit them from behind. Schwendiman, 53, was killed. [Her fiancée] was hospitalized due to a brain leak.” The report indicates that Leslie Schwendiman was visiting from Utah at the time of the incident.

According to the report, “[Leslie Schwendiman’s fiancée] was released from the hospital Sunday morning.”

The investigation is ongoing.

CUMMINS, GA – A motor vehicle accident in Cummins, Georgia Sunday night, September 8, 2024, left one woman fatally Injured.

As reported by AtlantaNewsFirst.com, “[t]he Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department responded to GA-400 and Jot ‘Em Down Road at around 9:30 p.m.”

According to the report, “a blue 2014 Toyota Rav4, driven by 72-year-old Julie…Lamb, of Dawsonville, was crossing the intersection when it was struck by a black 2019 Ford F-150.”

AppenMedia.com is reporting, “[a]n investigation determined [the Ford driver] was northbound on Ga. 400 at a speed that made it impossible to stop when the signal turned red, according to the report. Lamb was driving west on Jot ‘Em Down Road when her vehicle was struck. Lamb was pronounced dead at the scene.”

According to AJC.com, “[the driver of the Ford] was booked into the Forsyth jail on charges of homicide by vehicle in the first degree, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance schedule II, reckless driving, two counts of cruelty to animals, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to use seat belts.”

A motor vehicle accident in Macon, Georgia early Monday morning, July 27, 2020, caused one fatality and left another injured.

As reported by 13WMAZ.com, “[the accident] happened at the intersection of Guy Paine Road and Pio Nono Avenue around 4 a.m.”

WGXA.tv is reporting, “[a] 2004 Honda Accord, driven by 24-year-old Tavaris McDougald, pulled out of the, “Club X”, night club parking lot, located on PioNono Avenue…[t]he Honda then pulled into the path of a 2013 Dodge Ram truck, driven by 27-year-old Terrell Billingslea.”

According to the report, “McDougald [was unable to survive his injuries]…Billingslea was transported to the Navicent and is listed to be in stable condition.”

The crash investigation is ongoing.
