Gunfire erupted at an Atlanta, Georgia gas station early Sunday morning, Aug 20, 2023, leaving one woman injured.

As reported by Fox5Atlanta.com, “[a] 36-year-old woman was shot shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday at a gas station at 1683 Lakewood Ave. SE.”

AtlantaNewsFirst.com is reporting, “[n]ear 4 a.m., the victim told police they overheard two men arguing at an Amoco off Lakewood Avenue SE. Then one of the men reportedly started shooting, hitting the 36-year-old woman. The intended target wasn’t hit.”

The investigation is ongoing.

Gunfire erupted at a Tifton, Georgia gas station Monday, July 17, 2023, leaving one man dead.

As reported by GBI.Georgia.gov, “[o]n Monday, July 17, 2023, the GBI was requested by the Tift County Sheriff’s Office to assist in a death investigation in which a man was found dead at [a] Gas Station [located at] 3119 South Central Drive, Tifton, GA. Deputies responded to this location in response to a shooting.”

According to the report, “[a victim] was found shot and pronounced dead at the scene.”

WALB.com is reporting, “[the] Tift County Coroner…confirmed to WALB the victim is Vincent Myers, 36.”

As reported by AJC.com, “[a] man was fatally shot outside a gas station in DeKalb County on Wednesday afternoon…DeKalb police were called at around 1:30 p.m. to a BP station near Klondike and Browns Mill roads in Stonecrest for the shooting.”
