As reported by 13WMAZ.com, “Bibb County Coroner…says a man was killed early Tuesday morning after being hit by a car on Pio Nono Avenue. He says that the call came in just before 4 a.m. Tuesday morning on Pio Nono Avenue underneath the Interstate 75 south overpass.”

WGXA.tv is reporting, “BSO said that a driver in a Kia Soul struck 36-year-old Tremaine Coats, who was crossing the roadway at the Glendale intersection of Pio Nono Ave., wearing all dark clothing. Deputies on the scene found the victim unresponsive, and despite life-saving attempts, he was pronounced dead.”

The fatal collision is under investigation.

As reported by 11Alive.com, “Cobb Police said officers responded around 2:40 p.m.. to the Stratford Ridge Apartments on Delk Road after they received reports of shots fired in the area.”

According to the report, “[w]hen officers arrived, they said they found a man who had been hurt. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.”

The investigation is ongoing.

As reported by Fox5Atlanta.com, “[a] man was shot Wednesday night at a gas station on Glenwood Road in DeKalb County.”
