A motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles in Gwinnett County, Georgia early Friday morning, January 24, 2020, caused the death of two people.

As reported by Fox5Atlanta.com, the accident happened “on Interstate 85 southbound just south of the Lawrenceville-Suwanne Road exit.”

According to the report, “[o]fficers were called to the scene around 2 a.m. Friday morning and found two commercial trucks and two vehicles involved in the wreck.”

WSBtv.com is reporting, “[t]he drivers of both tractor-trailers, 63-year-old Robert Kent and 50-year-old Raymond Samuel, are confirmed to be dead.”

According to the report, one driver was “placed under arrest and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail. She has been charged with homicide by vehicle, failure to maintain lane and too fast for conditions..”

The investigation is ongoing.

A motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer in Monroe County, Georgia Friday, December 13, 2019, injured multiple people.

As reported by 13WMAZ.com, ” the wreck happened on I-475 northbound at Dixie Highway/Georgia 19 and it blocked all lanes of traffic.”

According to the report, “a tractor trailer could not stop when traffic started slowing…when the driver of the tractor trailer snatched the steering wheel to the left to avoid stopped traffic, and hit two cars in the left lane.”

the tractor trailer and the two vehicles went through the guardrail and down an embankment.

Per the report, “[t]he driver of the tractor trailer is okay. There were seven people in the other vehicles and all of them are hurt.”

The injured victims were taken to Navicent with non life-threatening injuries.

A motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a tractor-trailer in South Fulton, Georgia Wednesday afternoon, October 2, 2019, caused the death of one person.

As reported by AJC.com, “[t]he wreck happened on Camp Creek Parkway just past the intersection with Campbellton Road in south Fulton County.”

According to the report, “[t]he tractor-trailer ended up in a wooded area off the right side of the road, and a sedan was also involved.”

One person was fatally injured in the accident.
