A shootout outside the Summerdale apartment complex reportedly claimed the life of 59-year-old bystander, Gloria Starr-Armour, Monday, July 25, 2016.
According to WSBTV 2 News, Ms. Starr-Armour “was sitting inside a car around 5 p.m. at Summerdale Apartments on Old Hapeville Road when police say the people inside two cars at the entrance to the complex started shooting at each other.” Ms. Starr-Armour and her husband were apparently sitting in their vehicle at the gate when she was “caught in the crossfire.”
The Summerdale complex was apparently the subject of another fatal shooting in June, per AJC reports.
