Kingsland, GA – Gunfire rang out at an apartment complex Saturday evening, August 2, 2025, leaving one man dead and a woman injured.

As reported by ActionNewsJax.com, “[a] man and a woman were shot at…Apartments at 800 Winding Road, Saturday night. According to the St. Marys Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene at 6:09 p.m. When officers arrived, they identified two people who were shot.”

FirstCoastNews.com is reporting, “[o]ne of the victims, identified as 23-year-old Jadeon Andredeshawn Wilson, was taken to the Southeast Georgia Health System – Camden Campus, where he was pronounced dead.  The other victim…was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital, where police say she is in non-life-threatening condition.”

The investigation is ongoing.

Atlanta, GA – A man was shot at a strip mall Friday evening, August 1, 2025.  

As reported by AtlantaNewsFirst.com, “Atlanta police said they responded to a man shot on the 2800 block of Lakewood Avenue SW, right by a strip mall near I-85 in the Sylvan Hills neighborhood, around 5:52 p.m.”

According to the report, “[o]fficers reportedly found the man, identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as 52-year-old Henry Evans, with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Macon, GA – A motor vehicle and motorcycle accident Thursday morning, August 7, 2025, left one man fatally injured.

As reported by 41NBC.com, “[a] 23-year-old man is dead after a traffic collision Thursday morning on Columbus Road…The crash happened around 9 a.m. near the intersection of Columbus West Drive on August 7.”

WGXA.tv is reporting, “[r]eports show that a driver of a Ford minivan was going west on Columbus Road while a motorcyclist was going in the opposite direction. BSO said the crash happened as the minivan was turning into a business, injuring the motorcyclist.”

According to the report, “[t]he 23-year-old motorcyclist, Joseph Parham, was taken to a local hospital by ambulance, where he [was unable to survive his injuries].”
