A two vehicle wreck in Fulton County, Georgia killed two people and injured multiple others Monday afternoon, July 15, 2019. As reported by Fox5Atlanta.com, the accident happened “Monday afternoon in the Union City area off Buffington Road and Royal South Parkway.” According to the report, “a van carrying numerous people with special needs rear-ended a semi-truck.” The van had departed [a] day center earlier that afternoon to transport the adults back to their homes. Per the report, two people were declared dead at the scene, and all other victims were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Georgia State Patrol is still investigating the crash.

A three vehicle accident caused injuries in Atlanta, Georgia early Tuesday morning, July 16, 2019. As reported by CBS46.com, “[t]he accident happened Tuesday morning, just before 2 a.m., on I-285 southbound near the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway exit.” According to the report, a pickup truck hit tractor-trailer, and then the pickup truck hit a sedan causing the sedan to catch fire. A passenger in the sedan “was rushed to a nearby hospital with a skull fracture.” There were other minor injuries according to the report.

The investigation is ongoing.

Gunfire erupted Sunday night, July 14, 2019 outside an Atlanta, Georgia restaurant leaving one man injured.

According to AJC.com, “[t]he victim was having a late-night meal at JJ Fish and Chicken on Pryor Road…He was ambushed just before 11 p.m. as he returned to his car.” According to the report, “two unknown male suspects produced handguns and fired at the victim, striking him multiple times.” As reported by Fox5Atlanta.com, the victim was able to make it to his vehicle and sped away driving a short distance before pulling over and calling police for help. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds to the hand, groin, and abdomen.

The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been identified.
