A motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and an asphalt crew tragically resulted in the death of a young man Tuesday morning, May 14, 2019.

According to WSBtv.com, “[a]n asphalt worker was hit and killed while working on Tara Boulevard in Clayton County…the asphalt company was paving Tara Boulevard between Lovejoy and McDonough when the crash happened.”  According to the news story, “[p]olice identified the worker as Justin Bagley, 28.”  The driver of the vehicle that hit Mr. Bagley did stay on the scene and according to the report, charges are pending against the driver.
