A motor vehicle pedestrian accident in Lafayette, GA sadly claimed the life of a teen man Saturday night, May 16, 2020.

As reported by NortwestGeorgiaNews.com, “Mckay Bergeson, 19, of Bountiful, Utah was riding his bicycle when he was hit near LaFayette, Georgia…[t]he person he was riding with was not hurt”

WDEF.com is reporting, “a four door sedan struck [Mckay] Bergeson’s bike in the rear end which caused him to strike the pavement. The car did not stop at the scene and has not been located.”

The investigation is ongoing.
